Pomegranate juice

Pomegranates are one of the most popular fruits for people to consume on a regular basis. They are very delicious and have a taste that cannot be matched by any other type of fruit. This is especially true when a person consumes it as juice. Pomegranate juice can be taken as either an individual drink or in a concentrated form that can be added to other juices for consumption. Pomegranate extract has been used for medicinal purposes in India for hundreds of years.

 

Scientists have found that pomegranate juice may have certain properties that are beneficial in reducing inflammation. The levels of pomegranate seed in the bloodstream are not enough to negate the effects of high cholesterol.

In a recent study, researchers found that drinking two cups of pomegranate juice every day significantly lowered the bad cholesterol levels in the participants, while raising the good cholesterol levels.
